Details

Practical Meteorology students are collecting donations for those impacted by wildfires in California. On Wednesday, Jan. 29, we will be collecting items at a table in front of Boulder from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Items will be sent to a YMCA in L.A. We are also working with a local music venue to ship items to California. There are many options for monetary donations. However, students have been contact with a representative from Direct Relief for your consideration.

When: Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Table outside Boulder
Items accepted: Chapstick, wool socks, diapers, baby wipes, soap, shampoo, dry dog and cat food, canned dog and cat food, individually wrapped snacks, first-aid kits
