Flyer for Spring 2025 Asian Studies Talk: Disaster in Sinophone Literature

"Disaster in Sinophone Literature" will be presented by Dr. Xie Laura Fang of the Virginia Military Institute. Join us at 10am on Wednesday, March 19, and stay after for a coffee talk at the Humanities Cafe. Discussion will center around the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, the movie Aftershock (dir. FENG Xiaogang, 2010), and its original fiction.
