The Milch Award honors one community group, organization, or agency each year that has made a significant contribution to the intellectual, cultural, social, or commercial life of greater Baltimore during the past year. Established in 1979 by Robert A. Milch—professor of management and dean of the Executive Graduate Program in Management (1977–1981)—and his mother, Mrs. Pearl S. Milch, the award includes a monetary gift and is presented annually at Commencement.
All members of the Loyola community are encouraged to nominate community partners who have worked closely with the University to create meaningful and positive community impact over the past year.
