The Forever-Green Thrift Store is coming up Thursday, November 7th from 12–4 PM in McGuire Hall, and we need your help to make it a success!
This student-run, sustainability-focused event relies on volunteers to help with setup, organization, sales, and cleanup. It’s a great way to get involved, meet new people, and support campus sustainability efforts! This is also a great one time service opportunity any campus organizations or clubs!

Here are the volunteer roles available:
🪴 Set Up (8+ people)
Bring clothes, racks, and hangers from the CCSJ Office to McGuire Hall, hang and fold clothes by item and size, and help make the space look organized.
Meet at CCSJ Office (at 10 or 11am)
💳 Cashiers (2 people)
Handle payments. Cashiers meet with CCSJ Pro-Staff 15 minutes before their shift for training.
Meet at McGuire Hall (at 11:45am)
📋 Clothing Tally Person (1 person)
Track donations to help calculate the CO₂ and water saved from reusing clothes!
Meet at McGuire Hall (at 11:45am)
👕 Clothing Maintenance (3 people)
Keep the store organized by size, remove empty hangers, and make sure everything looks tidy.
Meet at McGuire Hall (at 12pm)
🪞 Dressing Room (1 person)
Oversee fitting rooms, manage the line, and keep the area organized.
Meet at McGuire Hall (at 12pm)
📦 Break Down (8+ people)
Fold clothes, break down racks, and return everything to the CCSJ Office.
