About Us
ALANA (African, Latinx, Asian and Native American) Services is committed to providing support, services, and programs that encourage the success of students of color at Loyola University Maryland. Through intentional programming and a broad spectrum of services, we seek to foster the academic, personal, spiritual, and leadership development of ALANA students.
As a department, ALANA sponsors a variety of programs aimed at enriching and educating members of Loyola's campus community about issues related to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness.
ALANA Services oversees and supports 8 Student Organizations which are: Asian Cultural Alliance (ACA), Association of Latinx Students (ALAS), African Student Association (ASA), Black Student Association (BSA), Caribbean Students Union (CSU), Middle Eastern South Asian Student Alliance (MESA), MOSAIC: A Womxn of Color Initiative, and the Native American Student Association (NASA)
