Hey Hounds, welcome to the First Year Newsletter! Check your email every other Friday for all upcoming events, forms, and announcements from your 2027 SGA. Be sure to also follow the 2027 Instagram page @loyolamd.2027 to learn who's on the 2027 Assembly and all the latest happening!

First Year Frenzy!


Want to send someone something sweet? The 2027 Assembly is having our first event of the year where you can send someone a candygram for free! Stop by our table outside of Boulder on February 7th and 8th from 12pm-3pm or February 12th from 4pm-7pm to write a note to your favorite person and attach a piece of candy. SGA will send out an email to notify you if you have recieved a candygram and you will be able to pick it up on the 13th or 14th outside of Boulder from 12pm-3pm.

Spread the love just in time for Valentine's Day! More information will be on the Bridge. Hope to see you there!

 

RSVP for Semi-Formal!


There is officially one week until the First-Year & Sophomore Semi-Formal! Join the 2026 and 2027 SGA for a night of food, music, pictures, and fun with your friends in McGuire Hall from 8:30pm-10:30pm. After, head over to Boulder 2.0 for the Midnight Snack after party that everyone is welcome to for garlic knots, salad, and some sweet treats. Make sure to complete the song request form for a chance to hear your favorite songs! 

We can't wait see everyone all dressed up! Check the Bridge for more information about Semi-Formal and the Midnight Snack!

Have you wondered why SGA is outside of Boulder on Tuesdays and Thursdays? We are having drop in hours outside of Boulder and in the 3rd Floor Conference Room! Ask us questions about the organization, tell us your concerns, or just come say hi! SGA Executive members and class year members will be at both locations from 11am-1pm.
