Hello Eastside Residents,

I hope the first few days of classes have been going well for you all! This email is to give you all some general information for Eastside and will have attachments of some resources and guidelines.

If you live in Rahner and have a registered car, then you can stop by the McAuley student life office to pick up your clickers that open the gates for you. I’ll be in the office tomorrow 12:30-1:30, Friday 12-2, Sunday 3-4, and Monday 12:30-1:30, Wednesday 11-3. If none of these times work for you feel free to contact me and we can work something out.

Something that has not been addressed yet are quiet hours. Quiet hours will be Sunday-Thursday 11pm-10am, Friday & Saturday 1am-10am, and 24 hours during finals. If someone asks to quiet down especially not during quiet hours, then please just be respectful to those living around this community area. Thanks!

Important: Community standards does not permit any promotion of excessive drinking on campus. This means things such as beer pong, funnels, drinking games, or anything that gathers large amounts of alcohol in one space or setting is not allowed. Alcohol is not permitted outside. Those who live in McAuley, you can drink on your own balcony if you’re 21+ or else it needs to be kept inside.

There will be a staff member every Wednesday in the McAuley Student Life office from 11-3. You can stop by during those hours if you need to. Also, keep an eye out for a weekly Newsletter on the Bridge that will be posted on either Thursdays or Fridays. If any of you have any questions, concerns, or need to talk about something important, then please feel free to reach out to me via email. I hope the rest of the week goes well for you all!

Best regards,

Maggie Iapalucci
