Leadership and its proper execution seem to be often described as the development of habits and interpersonal skills that lead to positive outcomes. The hope being these positive outcomes benefit those directly and indirectly involved in the situation. However, this model can lead one to see leadership as a means to an end rather than a way of being—or better yet a way of doing. We will go over habits, values, and practices that are intrapersonal in nature, and discuss how such work prepares one for the moments in which leadership is required of them.
