Learning is at the heart of our mission as a Jesuit, liberal arts university. In honor of this historic moment for our community, we will invite our faculty, staff, administrators, and students to participate in an academic symposium on the theme, "Enacting Eloquentia Perfecta: Reimagining Academic Discourse and Building Community in the Modern University."

The keynote speaker will be Kathleen Sprows Cummings, Ph.D., professor of American studies and history at the University of Notre Dame, where she also directs the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism.
