Beginners: Join us for our Youth Beginner Climbing Camp, designed for kids aged 6-17, who are eager to explore the world of rock climbing! Held at Loyola’s Fitness and Aquatic Center Rockwall, this hands-on program introduces young climbers to essential skills, safety practices, and the thrill of climbing in a supportive environment. The beginner module is best suited for kids who have never climbed or have only climbed a few times before without serious instruction/teaching. Your child will be learning things such as:
-Common equipment and terminology (types of holds, climbing harnesses, climbing shoes, etc.)
-Basic climbing techniques (footwork, balance, & problem-solving)
-Understanding injury prevention and risk management
Beginner youth climbing clinics are $200 per child for 90-minute weekly sessions over 5-weeks. Once registered, more information will be sent out regarding what to bring and where to go!

Intermediate/Advanced: Join us for our Youth Intermediate/Advanced Climbing Camp, designed for kids aged 6-17, who are eager to expand their world of rock climbing! Held at Loyola’s Fitness and Aquatic Center Rockwall, this hands-on program introduces climbers to higher level skills, detailed safety practices, and more one on one climbing instruction in a supportive environment. The intermediate/advanced module is best suited for kids who are comfortable climbing and are looking to take it to the next level. Several visits to climbing facilities and/or previous coaching and training is suggested for kids in this group. Your child will be learning things such as:
-A foundation of terminology and types of climbing
-Advanced climbing techniques (footwork, route-finding, etc.)
-Understanding injury prevention and risk management (for higher level climbing)
Intermediate/Advanced youth climbing clinics are $250 per child for 90-minute weekly sessions over 5-weeks. Once registered, more information will be sent out regarding what to bring and where to go! For intermediate/ advanced clinics, there will be a belay class offered immediately following week one for anyone interested in learning to belay.
