Maryland's Public Service Scholars Program: The Governor's Summer Internship Program (GSIP)

The Governor's Summer Internship Program (GSIP) introduces MAryland's best and brightest college students to the challenges and rewards of working within state government. Fellows are paid a stipend of $3500 for their participation in the program. 


Eligibility criteria for fellows:

• Rising Junior or Senior in the summer of participation
• Attending a Maryland institution OR a current Maryland resident attending an out-of-state institution
• GPA 2.7 or above
• Available May 30, 2023 - August 11, 2023, Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm

2023 Important Dates:

• February 1 - Priority Application Deadline
• March 1 - Application Deadline
• May 30 - Program Begins
