Wherever you are on your faith journey, Campus Ministry is here to help you explore who you are, strengthen your relationship with God and grow into who you are becoming. We hope that our presence will empower students to create a community, rooted in faith, that is integrated into their daily lives through experience, discernment, and the promotion of justice.

Rooted in our Ignatian tradition, Campus Ministry offers opportunities to pray, reflect, discern and connect with our Loyola community. You are welcome in our community and all we do!

Mission
IgnatianQ brings together the community of LGBTQPIA+ folks (and allies) at Jesuit universities from across the U.S. As LGBTQPIA+ people, we believe that our own desire for social justice and the Jesuit values that inform our education are forces that can and should work together for a more just and humane world. As we explore the intersections of sexuality, gender, and spirituality together, we strive to educate and empower the whole person.

Since 2014, when founded at Fordham University, IgnatianQ has been hosted by AJCU schools across the country, including Loyola University Maryland in 2018. Each year, Loyola brings a delegation of students to the conference during the spring semester. IgnatianQ is supported by Campus Ministry and LGBTQ+ Student Services.

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community for Muslim students and allies on campus! We aim to support students’ spiritual, cultural, and social needs by providing spaces for worship, learning, and connection. Through the collaboration with Campus Ministry and the broader campus community, we strive to promote understanding of Islam, celebrate Islamic traditions, and create a strong sense of belonging for all!
