Senior Week 2025

Loyola University Maryland established this special celebration to honor members of the graduating class who have earned departmental medals and other awards recognizing outstanding achievement in academics or community service. Departments take into account primarily the cumulative grade point average in courses required by the major. Departments may also take into account the overall grade point average, degree of difficulty of courses taken, and performance in those courses. Each department's standards are available from the chair. The endowments for some of the medals listed below may stipulate other criteria for awarding the medal. In these cases, the endowment's criteria must be followed.

The Baccalaureate Mass is a beautiful liturgical ceremony offered in thanksgiving for the blessings God has bestowed upon the graduates and their families. Music is provided by Loyola's Chapel Choir.

This year's Commencement Ceremony will be held at the CFG Bank Arena (201 W. Baltimore Street) on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Doors to the arena will open at 9 a.m. and the processional will begin at 10:45 a.m. The Commencement program begins promptly at 11 a.m.

Last senior event to countdown to graduation! The evening includes full meal, drinks, live cover band, and socializing with our classmates.

Seniors are able to purchase a ticket for one guest for this event. Any guest attending the event will need to bring a valid driver's license for ID.
