Welcome Back Greyhounds!!!
Genna Quinn and Gabriela Trainor here, your Sophomore Class President and Assembly Member! Welcome back to a special edition of the Twenty-Five Times; Women's History Month!
Women's History Month is a celebratory reflection on the positive contributions of women of all races and ethnic cultures and backgrounds throughout history. Women such as Susan B. Anthony, Rosa Parks, and Michelle Obama; have attributed to necessary conversations and actions to help shape the role of women in today's society.
Loyola University Maryland has presented many women with the opportunity to be educated, explore, and take on leadership roles and positions. Every school year there are more and more women holding leadership positions (Student Government, Athletics, Organizations on campus; CCSJ, Rizzo Career Center) and dominating more male-dominated fields such as Law, Business Finance, Economics, and STEM, etc.
