Updates to Messina Budget Process
Dear Working Group members,
With Loyola’s switch to WorkDay, we wanted working group members to be aware that Messina has needed to make some changes to our working group budget submission process. Because Messina cannot currently submit requests on behalf of another individual as we have done in the past, some requests will now need to be submitted directly through WorkDay. For your reference, a summary of the new process is as follows:

STEP 1 (All Working Group Members): All requests should still initially be submitted through the Logistical Request Form
- STEP 2 (Faculty and Mentors ONLY): Requests with receipts (reimbursements and p-card budget adjustments) should also be submitted as an Expense Report via WorkDay
- For the time being, all requests submitted by or on behalf of students should be submitted directly to the Messina office using ONLY the Logistical Request Form.

Note that Messina will only approve the request once all necessary forms have been completed. Upon approval, your working group will receive a confirmation email noting your remaining balance for the semester.
We ask that groups keep in mind that this new process currently requires an extra step of supervisor approval for those who are not employed under Academic Affairs, so please allow time when making your request to account for this step.
