Declaring the AAAS Minor

Just some quick background: the AAAS Minor is an opportunity to enrich your studies with focused research and coursework. This guide will outline the step-by-step process to declare this minor:

  1. Obtain the Change of Minor Form:

    • You can locate this form on the Records Office website here.
    • Alternatively, you can pick up the form from the Records Office in MH 141.
    • For convenience, the form is also linked at the bottom of this message.
  2. Complete the Change of Minor Form:

    • Fill in the necessary details on the form. The details usually include your current minor (if applicable), the minor you want to declare, your name, and other relevant details.
  3. Get the Necessary Signatures:

    • Make sure that you've obtained all the required signatures before submission. 
  4. Submit the Form:

    • Now that you have filled out the form and gotten the necessary signatures, submit the completed form to the Records Office in MH 141. You can drop in your form during their business hours.

After your form is reviewed and accepted, you will officially have your AAAS Minor declared!
