Common Text Keynote Event
Monday, March 17th at 6pm in McGuire Hall
Baltimore Activists Shashawnda Campbell and Nicole Fabricant will be discussing their activism efforts around Baltimore. Dr. Fabricant is the author of Fighting to Breathe: Race, Toxicity, and the Rise of Youth Activism in Baltimore. Dr. Fabricant is Professor of Anthropology at Towson University. Ms. Campbell is a community leader and activist for environmental justice. They will be in conversation with Dr. Kaye Whitehead of Loyola’s Karson Center for Race, Peace, and Justice. There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience as well as an opportunity to get Dr. Fabricant’s book signed.

Internship & Job Fair 3/19 3pm - 5pm
This in-personcareer fair is a wonderful opportunity for students to meet with reputable employers eager to hire Loyola students and learn about current full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities. Whether students are eager to meet representatives from specific companies, or are early in their career development, exploring options, theLOYOLA READY Internship & Job Fair 2025 is a fantastic opportunity to learn and connect.

The Rizzo Career Center is here to help students with their resumes, 30-second pitch, researching employers and networking. They can make an appointment via Handshake or drop in Monday-Friday, 12-3.
