From: Green Bandana Brigade Date: April 10, 2024 Subject: Green Bandana Brigade Newsletter!
Welcome!
Congratulations on completing Kognito!
First, we want to express our gratitude for your commitment to mental health awareness and education here at Loyola. If you weren't already aware, you are part of the "Green Bandana Brigade" community, consisting of fellow students, staff, faculty, and administrators. This means you have acknowledged the importance of mental health, and are committed to continue this educational journey about mental health.
If you haven't already done so, take a look at the box to the right for instructions on how to pick up your green bandana! Show it with pride somewhere visible to others, so they know you have made this comittment to mental health awareness. Next, we encourage you to attend at least one event pertaining to mental health per semester, which leads us to the last resource of this newsletter.
Twice a semester, you will receive a Green Bandana Brigade newsletter that contains events on campus that have a mental health awareness focus, welcoming our new members in, and any other important information.
Again, we want to thank you for taking this step to promote mental health awareness and education on Loyola's campus!
Now that you have completed Kognito training and are officially a part of the Green Bandana Brigade, you will want to show off your own green bandana! Bring your Kognito certificate to the Counseling Center to receive your green bandana and a set of resource cards. After you've received your bandana don't hesitate to show it off by putting it in your office, on your backpack or bag, or anywhere you see fit.
