Kerron Duncan

Senior Director, Innovation
Northrop Grumman Chief Information Office

Kerron Duncan is the Senior Director of Innovation, within the Chief Information Office at Northrop Grumman Corporation. His team is focused on delivering breakthrough innovation by accelerating insertion and adoption of disruptive technologies that enable accessible, secure and connected architectures, solutions and experiences.

Duncan earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.  Duncan has a patent and numerous disclosures, trade secrets and publications. He serves as co-chair of the enterprise African American Task Group (AATG), leading and executing the vision, strategy, and plan for this employee resource group (ERG).

 

Jal Irani

 

Jal Irani is a founder and product manager based out of Baltimore, MD. Currently, he is the founder & CEO of Flave, which leverages the principles of gamification to incentivize the community to eat local. Prior to Flave, he was the Head of Product at SchoolDuels where he took the company’s web-based platform from ideation to production and 125k in ARR within the first year. He has also worked at early-stage startups such as TrackOFF (acquired by Avast) as well as ZeroFOX.

Jal has independently developed apps SmartAddress and SleepIn Alarm, which are currently deployed on the iOS App Store. SleepIn Alarm is an alarm clock that automatically cancels based on university inclement weather policies. SmartAddress stores user destinations to compare current Lyft and Uber prices and surges; SmartAddress sold to FamJam Inc. in 2018.

Jal also teaches full-time in Towson University’s Computer Science department where he is the primary Lecturer for both the undergraduate and graduate full-stack web development and mobile programming courses.

Benedict Cumberbatch is Thomas Edison, the celebrity inventor on the verge of bringing electricity to Manhattan with his radical new DC technology. On the eve of triumph, his plans are upended by charismatic businessman George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon), who believes he and his partner, theupstart genius Nikolai Tesla (Nicholas Hoult), have a superior idea for how to rapidly electrify America: with AC current. As Edison and Westinghouse grapple for who will power the nation, they spark one of the first and greatest corporate feuds in American history, establishing for future Titans of Industry the need to break all the rules.
