Updates & Reminders
1. CVS Closing/Shuttle Update:
As you may have heard, the CVS on York Rd is closing. This convenient pharmacy was heavily used by our students. Students can work with local pharmacies to get their medications dropped off to the health center (the health center can take questions about this) or they can access other local pharmacies through the shuttle. Starting this week, Loyola is reinstating the York Road Plaza route on M-W-F evenings, 5:30pm-8:30pm. There are 3 pharmacies in the area at York Road Plaza: Walgreens, Rite Aid, and Giant Food.
This route stops at:
the library, Ahern/McAuley, Aquinas, Rahner, Belvedere Square, Panera Bread (inside the lot just past the building), Giant Food (corner of shopping center), MTA Bus shelter @ Gittings & York Road, Belvedere Square (NW corner @ York & Belvedere), Rahner, Aquinas, Ahern/McAuley, and then back at the Library.
2. Top Golf Tuesdays
We get questions often about how to make Top Golf happen on a $600 budget. On Tuesdays this semester, Top Golf is half off. Talk to Patrick Murnane details.
3. Friday Nights at the Aquarium
Admission is half off after 5pm on Fridays at the aquarium. They close at 9pm which gives you plenty of time to see a shark, go to the rainforest, and even catch a 4D movie.

Criminal (In)Justice Laws Without Mercy: An Evening with Tray Jones
Wrongfully convicted at 16, Jones spent 37 years of his life incarcerated. During that time, Jones earned a college degree, wrote a book, and is now a successful author and speaker but most importantly, free. This event is perfect for any law, political science, philosophy, or even writing majors as themes like justice and hope are explored during this talk.
Students can register events through The Bridge (links below). View the Calendar tab of the Messina website for a complete list of events for the semester.
