A Successful September for Sellinger Scholars
September has been an exciting and eventful month for our program, filled with meaningful interactions, impactful initiatives, and memorable moments. Here's a snapshot of some of the highlights from the past few weeks:
Inspirational Opening Event: We kicked off the year with remarkable speakers, setting the tone for an exciting journey ahead. Executive Board Members, Bridget Shanley and Peter Sposito put on a great presentation introducing the Scholars to the value of Mentoring within the program.
Building Connections: First-year scholars had valuable discussions with Matt Rogers and Viviana Martinez, sharing thoughts on success and aspirations. In addition, our first-year scholars had the privilege of meeting the Executives in Residence and participated in the annual scholars retreat, enhancing their experience in our program. Many scholars also attended the Career Fair: "Meet the Firms", networking with businesses stationed across the country.
Pie a Scholar Success: Our first-ever fundraiser, "Pie a Scholar," was a sweet success, thanks to students and Board Members enthusiastic participation. Professor Lynne Elkes and Dr. JP Krahel even joined in on the fun!!
LinkedIn Headshots: We helped you put your best foot forward with professional LinkedIn headshots.
Outreach at the Activities Fair: We introduced Sellinger Scholars to perspective business and non-business students at the activities fair, broadening our community.
