About Us

Disability Support Services' mission is to provide students with disabilities the equal opportunity to participate in all Loyola programs and activities, so students can learn, lead, and serve in a diverse and changing world. The DSS staff works to ensure students have equal access to Loyola programs and activities by eliminating barriers of any type (e.g., physical, programmatic, attitudinal, or electronic). How can DSS help you?

In addition to providing supports and accommodations for students with disabilities registered with DSS, the staff works to ensure the Loyola is welcoming and inclusive to all students. The DSS staff is happy to work with you to help you make your class, event or other Loyola program free from barriers that would limit participation from individuals with disabilities. We also work with partners on campus if they identify a potential barrier and want DSS's assistance to improve access.
