Join us this fall for a series of immersive, community-rooted events hosted by the Center for Community Justice and Social Justice (CCJSJ). From learning about the York Road community and interfaith exploration to oyster farming and hands-on learning at a local Catholic Worker farm, each experience invites you to connect deeply with Baltimore’s people, places, and stories.

-York Road, Our Home (9/13): Reflect, serve, and share a meal at Soul Kitchen as we explore education, community, and care.
-Oxbow Farm (9/20): This $5 experience offers a chance to work the land, learn from the Catholic Worker tradition, eat a farm fresh meal, and reflect on how hospitality, justice, and soil are deeply intertwined.
- Interfaith Road Trip (10/04): Journey through Baltimore’s sacred spaces—from mosque to synagogue to church—and engage in rich conversations about faith, identity, and community. Includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and some joyful swag. Co-hosted with Campus Ministry.
-Loyola’s Oyster Garden (10/07): Plant Loyola's first Oyster Garden at Light House Point, where these oysters are then nurtured to restore the Chesapeake Bay. For the price of a $10 contribution, dive into the story of ecological healing and enjoy a boat ride through the Chesapeake Bay.

Whether you're seeking connection, curiosity, or a deeper sense of place—these events are open invitations to encounter Baltimore with heart and purpose.
