  • Who We Are

    Loyola University Maryland's Sustainable Business Club exists to prepare Loyola students to lead sustainable, ethical, and profitable organizations by connecting classroom learning in business and sustainability topics to real-world experience.

  • Purpose

    The purpose of this organization is to:

    • Educate members on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks, sustainable business models, and corporate responsibility
    • Provide professional development and career-readiness support for students pursuing sustainability-focused careers (internships, case competitions, certifications, employer connections)
    • Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration between the Sellinger School of Business and other Loyola schools/majors (Environmental Science/Studies, Political Science, etc.) and other green organizations (Office of Sustainability, Center for Community, Service, and Justice, Environmental Action Club, Food Recovery Network, etc.)
    • Serve as a bridge between sustainable business theory and practice through speaker events, site visits, case studies, and community partnerships
    • Advance Loyola's Jesuit values — cura personalis and magis — by promoting business practices that serve the common good
  • Membership

    Membership is open to all currently enrolled Loyola University Maryland students in good academic standing, regardless of major.

    Types of Membership:

    • General Member — attends meetings/events, no application required
    • Executive Board Member — holds an appointed leadership role
