  • Early Intervention Check-In Forms: please submit these any time you have a student of concern throughout the semester. Any member of the working group can submit one. There is no deadline for these. The form can be found here.

Updates & Reminders

  1. Updated Budget Request Tutorial available in Teams
Thanks to the feedback we have received from working group members over the last couple weeks, we have made some updates to the Messina Budget Request Tutorial, including some common troubleshooting questions, and some more specifics on finding the correct WorkDay tags. The new document can be found in Teams, or is linked from the budget section of our Enrichment Planning Requests page.

  2. Expense Report Walkthrough available on Messina Website
Thank you to those who joined us for our Expense Report Walkthrough! The recording has been posted to our website: Working Groups tab > Enrichment Planning Resources > Enrichment Planning Requests > Budget section

  3. Calling all readers - Join the Common Text committee to choose the 2025-26 book! Everyone is invited: faculty, staff, students, everyone. We also want your book suggestions, no other commitment required. Suggest a book and/or join the committee by filling out the Common Text form. Please respond by Thursday, October 10. For those who are interested in the committee: we will meet 3-4 times over the next six months, reading 3-4 books each before we make a final choice. If you like to read and talk about books, we want you!

  4. The next Lunch and Learn on October 15 at 12:15pm in the Third Floor Conference Room near ALANA will include tips for "classroom management" and "group dynamics" based on your responses to the interest poll. We will bring some experts to talk about best practices for encouraging everyone in our groups to participate, generating excitement about conversations and activities, and helping develop healthy leadership. Lunch is from Namaste - please RSVP so we know how many people we are feeding.
