Updates & Reminders

  1. Updated Budget Request Tutorial available in Teams
Thanks to the feedback we have received from working group members over the last couple weeks, we have made some updates to the Messina Budget Request Tutorial, including some common troubleshooting questions, and some more specifics on finding the correct WorkDay tags. The new document can be found in Teams, or is linked from the budget section of our Enrichment Planning Requests page.

  2. Messina Workday Request Walkthrough
Whether you’ve already submitted your first working group budget request, or aren’t yet feeling confident with WorkDay, join us on Monday, September 30 at 1 p.m. via Zoom for a walkthrough of the Messina WorkDay Request process. We will go over the details needed to submit a Messina-specific request, and Jill Hecklinger will be present to assist with troubleshooting and answering other WorkDay related questions. This meeting will be recorded for those who have scheduling conflicts.

  3. Need transportation to your Messina class outing?

A reminder that all budget and transportation requests still must be submitted via the Logistical Request Form. Please revisit the slides from the August workshop regarding Messina budgets and Workday changes when submitting your first few requests.

Please still allow approximately 3 days notice for budget requests. Please allow approximately 30 days notice for transportation requests. Contact Patrick Murnane at pmurnane@loyola.edu if you have a trip idea that's less than 30 days out prior to submitting,
