Organization Structure: How We Work

The Hound Activities and Programming board consists of a   president and five committees. Click on the drop downs to learn more about each committee.

  • Evening Events

The Evening Events committee are our "generalists," covering anything and everything Loyola students may want to see. Their events range from craft and movie nights, to our popular Stuff-a-Plush, and more.

  • School Spirit and Greyhound Pride

The School Spirit and Greyhound Pride committee  focus on building up excitement for school athletics, as well as a lifelong love for Loyola. Their events include giveaways at a variety of games, as well as Hound Hype Week.

  • Signature Events and Traditions

The Signature Events and Traditions committee plans 2-3 large-scale events and 3 or more off-campus trips per semester. Some of their most well-attended events include the annual Holiday Bash, Valentine's Day mixer, and trips to Baltimore sports games, Hersheypark, and snowtubing.

  • Club Connections

Club Connections aids Registered Student Organizations at all stages of the event planning process: whether it be finding other orgs to collaborate with, explaining the best funding sources, getting the word out, and anything else they may need. While the Club Connections team does not run their own events, they assist with RSO workshops and the semesterly Club Kickoffs.

  • Marketing

If you've ever seen a HAP flyer online or around campus, it's thanks to the Marketing committee. This committee creates all advertisements for HAP's events, as well as runs the Instagram account. Be sure to message @loyolahap if you ever want your club's event shared to our story!
