Why Staying Connected is Important

"We deeply value our alumni as invaluable ambassadors and contributors to our institution, each representing a unique success story and a testament to the enduring impact of our educational community." Staying connected is crucial for various reasons, fostering personal and professional growth, and contributing to a sense of community.

Collaboration and Networking

Connection opens doors to collaboration and networking opportunities. Whether in a professional or academic context, staying connected with peers, colleagues, and mentors enables the exchange of ideas, resources, and potential collaborations. Networking can lead to new career opportunities, partnerships, and shared initiatives, enhancing individual and collective success.

Learning and Professional Development

Staying connected ensures continuous learning and professional development. Engaging with a network of individuals allows access to diverse perspectives, industry insights, and the latest trends. Through ongoing dialogue, one can stay informed about advancements in their field, acquire new skills, and adapt to changes, contributing to long-term career growth and expertise.

Support and Community Building

Connection provides emotional support and fosters a sense of belonging. In both personal and professional realms, having a network of individuals who share similar experiences, challenges, and triumphs creates a supportive community. During difficult times, this network can offer guidance, encouragement, and a sense of camaraderie, contributing to overall well-being and resilience.

Michael Clark, M.Ed.

Last semester, we were happy to close this semester’s guest speaker series with one of Loyola’s best, Michael Clark, M. Ed.

Thank you, Michael for your wonderful insights and taking the time to inspire young minds within our Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management.

We want to also shoutout the many helping hands to make this all happen, including Alpha Kappa Psi, Sellinger Scholars Society, Matthew Rogers, & Lynne Elkes.

We look forward to picking it back up next year!
