Policies and Resources for Club Leaders

  • Club/Org Handbook

ALL club/org guidelines and processes are outlined in this document. We work to update this document frequently so please be sure you and your club officers are familiar with these expectations and guidelines.

  • Demonstration Policy

Within the Club/Org Handbook (but also linked here) is the updated Demonstration Policy

    Planning for a Demonstration/Protest:
Step 1: Read the Policy (linked above)
Step 2: Submit the Request Form

  • Speaker and Invited Guest Policy

The policy outlines the expectations, procedures, and approval processes for campus registered clubs and organizations inviting external speakers or hosting campus events involving non-University guests. The full policy can be found on pages 13-14 of the Clubs and Organizations Handbook.

All external speakers or guests must be approved by the University using the Speaker and Invited Guest Approval Form.

  • Student Org Posting Policy and Reminders

Please review both the official Student Organization Posting Policy as well as the helpful reminders document to ensure you are following best practices for marketing and promoting your events. You may also refer to the image on the right as a visual for where to and where not to hang your flyers.

  • Reserving the Student Organization Work Room

Starting academic year 24-25, we will be piloting a work room reservation process. The Work Room is connected to the Thrive Center for Student Success on the 3rd floor pf the Student Center and has materials and space for you to create posters and banners for your club's events, including for the Activities Fair. If your club will require the Work Room to prepare for any event or program you have coming, we ask that you complete the below reservation form. Our office will work to ensure there is little to no overlap in reservations but may have to limit use to 30 minutes at a time, depending on traffic and number of reservation requests.

  • Request a Workshop with the Rizzo Career Center

If you'd like to coordinate a career workshop for your next club meeting, the Career Center is here to help!
